Well, it has been a while, sorry. After our terrible trip to Nepal end of April we are slowly recovering and getting back on track.
In my case the training for Big Red Run certainly has helped in some way, so the good news is that since January, I lost almost 10% of my bodyweight, ran close to 2,000km and spent almost 200 hours (that’s more then a week) in my running gear……I think I am ready for Simpson Desert.
All my gear is sorted and ready to be packed. One more weekend of tapering and recovering from my rather interesting and successful 6 hours race on a 400m track last Saturday http://au.srichinmoyraces.org/events/24hour – 137 loops to test gear, body and mind.
Simpson Desert here we come.
